Gerry Doyle
Hailing from Hurlford, Ayrshire, Gerry Doyle was the bass player for The Termites on their first album “Overload” in 1989 on Link Records. A natural musician with an incredible sense of rhythm, a gentleman and never without his leather jacket and thick jumper.
Second cousin to Termites fiddler Johnny (who’s grandmother was a Doyle).
He always had time to speak to people. Sadly, the COVID pandemic cut Gerry’s life tragically short, passing away on 22 January 2021, but his music and his humanity carries on.
